Almost a month after the official premiere, German carmaker has announced the pricing list for the face-lifted 2017 Golf. Also available for ordering now are Golf Variant, Golf Alltrack1 and Golf GTI2.2017-volkswagen-golf-01
The starting price for the base version Golf stays constant (€17,850), even though now features an upgraded interior and exterior as standard. It comes powered by the 1.0-liter TSI petrol engine that delivers 63 kW / 85 PS. The price for the more powerful 1.0-liter TSI4 with 81 kW / 110 PS amounts € 19,625.
At the same time Volkswagen is also launching the new Golf Variant, starting at a price of € 21,575 for the 1.0-liter TSI unit rated at 81 kW / 110 PS.
The Golf and the Golf Variant will be offered in the Trendline, Comfortline and Highline trim versions. The Trendline features LED daytime running lights and LED tail lights, Composition Colour infotainment system, air conditioning and the stop/start system with recovery of braking energy. The Comfortline boasts the new generation of Front Assist including City Emergency Braking and pedestrian monitoring and 16-inch alloy wheels (“Hita” design) ex works. Also, it can be ordered and a very exclusive version of the Variant, the Golf Alltrack, which boasts striking all-terrain look, all-wheel drive, driver profile selector, folding front passenger backrest, higher chassis ride height, special 17-inch alloy wheels and engine underbody protection. The price for the Golf Alltrack powered by the 1.8 TSI unit with 132 kW / 180 PS and a dual-clutch gearbox, is € 33,650.
The range is being rounded out by the Golf TGI models with a natural gas drive (hatchback6 and Variant7 versions) along with the Golf GTI with a power output of 169 kW / 230 PS (instead of 162 kW / 220 PS). The four-door TGI models are priced from € 24,175 and all have an output of 81 kW / 110 PS. Standard features of the Golf GTI include a sport suspension, 17-inch “Brooklyn” alloy wheels and sport seats in front, and Climatronic and full-LED headlights as standard. The turbo-diesel (TDI) models will deliver between 85 kW / 115 PS and 110 kW / 150 PS.
