VR6OC News Bot 30
The guys at CarAdvice once again took the Focus RS, the Subaru WRX STI, and the Volkswagen Golf R to the track. In part one, the road test, the Volkswagen claimed the victory followed by the Subaru, while the RS was ranked last. In Part Two of their comparison test, the track element, the things are expected to be different because the Ford Focus RS has the most advanced all-wheel-drive system of any of the three. Unlike the Subaru’s symmetrical AWD or the VW’s front-biased Haldex system, the Ford Focus RS is capable of delivering “true” torque-vectoring through computer-controlled clutch packs. Each of these cars represents incredible performance for the money and on the paper the RS with its 350 hp 2.3-liter engine, based on the one in the Mustang EcoBoost, arrives with a clear advantage. Ultimately, though, is all that enough? Watch the full video to find out. Enjoy.
