Bealieboy 1,625
Well, after one quote of £3.6k from stealth to rebuild the nothelle engine, I'm now shopping around to see who can come up with a better price. Any ideas or recommendations for essex or the surrounding area. Cheers

Swivelonit 119
In Ellesmere Port, Simon has a massive knowledge of engine building, he is responsible for the turbo conversion on my MK4, he also runs a 475 bhp 2.0 8 valve G60 at the minute. I highly recommend him form what he has done for me and what he has been involved with. Bealieboy
Bealieboy 1,625
I fully understand any rebuild will not be cheap but £3.6k is a bit higher than I thought. I also understand that whilst expensive, it will be near bullet proof at the end. When you consider the bodywork and chassis update required I'd be into £8k or more to put the nothelle back on the rd. Is simon reasonable? Swivelonit 119
With Simon you can agree a price up front, he will stick to that. Give him a call on Monday, he may not take it on as he is a busy fella, are you supplying all the bits? Another one to try is CMA in Sandycroft, Tony Read rebuilt our Lupo engine and did a grand job of it.
