Rodney1980 6
Right here are a few pics of my 93 Dusty Mauve Vr, hopefully she will be up and running soon!!I've been working on stripping the front end as it was rotten, every nut and bolt seized and rusty! So what was a quick service get through an mot has turned into me stripping the brakes, suspension, both sub frames, but it will be a far better car once I've finished! The sub frames calipers are all away being stripped and powder coated. I've got a big list of parts waiting to go back on these include- new engine mounts, roll bar bushes and drop links, new wishbones with bushes and ball joints, track rod ends, subframe bushes, shock absorbers and 35mm drop springs, shock mounts, drilled n groves disks, brake lines.I've also had new sills will get new front wings, I've striped cleaned and under sealed most of the car to date will do the rest over the coming weeks. The car is well worth it, I love the colour and with only 57,000 on the clock it's barely run in!! bennyk
c00k 435
Looks like a good base project buddy. Why not change it to manual, While you got it half ripped apart. Be worth it in the long run. I'd also look at getting new coolant hoses and vacuum lines if it was mine, as the rubber has most likely started to perish if lots of stuff is rusty. Keep at it dude. All the hard work will pay off in the end. Edited September 2, 2015 by c00k

Travelling around here where you don't get past 3rd very often its a godsend! Also when doing the long motorway journeys with out current roadwork situation I couldn't fault it!
