I am now on my 3rd mk2vr6 and have had many performance Audis / VW's over the years, i currently have a B7 A4 tdi s line as my daily hack but this is my summer toy, about 3 years ago I bought it as a solid but well worn out 8V Gti and since then its been down to a bare shell & resprayed and everything replaced or repaired, it was on the road for 6 months last year but is tucked away for the winter just now. To say its been a money pit would be a bit of an understatement, I cant even bring myself to figure out what its cost me! Anyway ill do a full write up in the members cars one day but short version its fully poly bushed, avo coilovers, full mk3 running gear, genuine BBS 5x100 RS alloys, Gti edition interior etc etc. Next stage is turbo which was next winters plan but the temptation to start now is getting hard to ignore!!
