Toxicarea 11 Posted January 29, 2015 Author Report Share Posted January 29, 2015 (edited) Thx The schrick is one piece that the 12v vr motor should had from the start (i know the us version in the mk4 had a diffrent intake).I regret that i didn´t get one sooner have had this car since 2005.Got this one preept and installed 2y ago, haven´t been driving the car that much at all since i got myself one of my dreamcars as hobbycar instead of this one.The Golf today rest in a barn and by spring i eventually try to sell it. Toxicarea 11 Posted January 30, 2015 Author Report Share Posted January 30, 2015 Yeah well this e30 was bought by my best buddy back in 1999, at the time it was hennarot and 2000 the car was undergoing some restoration that was some minor rust repair and a colorchange.Color that was chosen was Nogarograu.Picture below is from when the car was 1week old, pictures taken by me.Since 2001 the car has been of road in my buddys garage.I bought this last year in january and started to make it "my own" in march. daveyboy and Bealieboy 2 Link to post Share on other sites

Toxicarea 11 Posted January 30, 2015 Author Report Share Posted January 30, 2015 (edited) A picture from when i bought the Golf back in 2005.Since then there have been a massive overhauling that more or less ended with new paint 2010, L041 incl clearcoat.Over the years i have:-rebuilt the head-timing chains-painted gearbox -changed heater matrix-changed interior for the Edition-Cab mirrors-shaved side repeaters-shaved spray nozzels on the hood-shaved emblem/wiper trunk-changed headlight x3-rewrapped all cables around the motor-changed rear lights x4-changed all glass in the car to CL glass, no tint-shaved schrick manifold, all internal refurbished-2,9 throttlebody-strongflex bushings front/rear-coilovers Patec-oilsump with reinforcement -braided brake lines front/rear-shortshift from gema front/back, own side2side-exhaust from supersprint-ported exhaust manifolds-moved intake temperature sender to behind right headlightThere is so much done to the car that listing everything is not possible because i cant translate all into English(my bad)The E30 is diffrent, i dont want to change to much as the car is what it is But that one starting to get all the small updates to, it´s in my nature This winter/spring adjustable toe/camber in the rear is on the list.New fuel pumps and hoses around the tank.Restoration of the leather interior.But i will try to not make to much in to little time as i plan to have this one from last year --> Edited January 30, 2015 by Toxicarea daveyboy and c00k 2 Link to post Share on other sites

The only real reason why I got rid of my last one was we just had my daughter and it was a total ball ache getting her seat in and out of the back seat and the money I was shelling out to pay for in every month needed to be used a little more wisely being a new family man at the time Link to post Share on other sites
