I was hoping not to have to do it as I've heard its a nightmare but I think the time has come to tackle it.And does anyone have a part number for the climatronic matrix? Lukey. 381 Posted October 15, 2014 Report Share Posted October 15, 2014 You can get a much cheaper one, about 10% of the price, but I heard bad things about cheap heater matrices so went genuine as I didn't want to do it twice. Just did the heater matrix on my A3 8P that was £180 but at least not a dash out job, just a glovebox out and a lot in job. D11PS 1 Link to post Share on other sites

I can literally just remove everything engine side and swap the belt. Then once Ive sorted my heater matrix I will still have hot and cold air? Link to post Share on other sites

Two bolts under the heat shielding on the bulkhead and then two on a rectangular bracket on the passenger side where the air con pipes go through the bulkhead. Link to post Share on other sites
