lloydjenks 4
Hi Guys ready to start my new summer project! I bought my cab already with the vr6 engine fitted and so far replaced the engine mounts which were knackered. Got quite a bit planned for it, mostly cosmetic as the bodywork is a bit tatty in parts and I don't like the wheels. Your advice and ideas would be greatly appreciated. lloydjenks 4
Have bought some little bits already. The lights came with the car but will see what they look like? The speakers are shot so just bought some replacement ones. Plates looked a bit dated so upgraded them also.
bennyk 1,238
That looks like it's been nicely converted, likes it's been there from the factory! Will only take half hour or so to swap the lights over so if you don't like em you can swap em straight back. Never been a big convertible car fan in general but hearing that vr6 growl with the roof down must be brilliant!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
lloydjenks 4
Yeah the guy spent a lot of money on it adding quite a bit of chrome in the engine and the hoses. Its a shame as that pic was before I bought it looks the same but the front lights were removed and also he has de badged it. It has a straight through exhaust manifold back and a K and N Induction kit so it does sound lovely with the top down. I was just about purchase a 24v corrado but this is a little different so thought why not. I will look at the lights at the weekend and see how it looks. bennyk and Bealieboy

Not really looking to add much more BHP but you never know!Picked up these today for only £225 so well happy. Will be putting them on sometime next week. Also bought a new kamei style grille thanks to CALICO which will be carbon dipped.Need to drop a vr6 in that cab! Lol the noise in the open is addictive! lloydjenks 4
Wheels now added and had a nice oil cooler leak to deal with. I hear that is a common problem with vr6's? All sorted now as picked a new one up and added fresh coolant. New kamei style grille next and that will be dipped in carbon fibre and some new quad lamps also to be dipped. Next up new wing and removing rust of the bodywork. Excuse the dirt the car really does need a good clean!
VR6Pete 1,456
Was it the seals? If so, yes it's common as they go hard over time as leaks oil. Club Chairman
