Eat this 2 Posted May 14, 2005 Report Share Posted May 14, 2005 im doin my wing mirror cover iv sanded the old laquer off (2nd silver mirror off ebay) then primed it 2 coats waited 10-15 mins till it felt dry then gave it 3-4 coats of colour waitin tilll the last was tacky then iv laquered it twice the colour match looks spot on BUT its rough as a bears arse have i done the colour too thick should i sand it totally smooth before priming im stumped any help would be great Link to post Share on other sites
