The plastic clips are rs a great hold, is there any other solutions to stop the rattle so much? Foam etc? What have you guys done f there been a rattle? Thanks:)
Lukey. 381
I cut strips and blocks of seat foam from dunelm to sit in between the body and the cards where there were rattles and one by one it's stopped them.
Cooz93 66
Nice one, will have to give that a go. How did you go about attaching the seat foam? Superglue?
Lukey. 381
If vertical hot glue dots just to tack it in place then when it's installed it's being compressed and held in place anyway. Otherwise just put in place then squashed with the card back on.
Cooz93 66
Done the foam thing and it's worked fairly well.. Few creaks still but packed the contact area out and seems alright now. Is there a better way for securing the door cards on, other that the standard clips and two bolts on the handle? I.e screws along bottom or something? Passenger one likes to pop off from time to time
Lukey. 381
It could be that the old plastic poppers are just slack, id try some new ones first before screwing it on, you cant really go back from that.
