bezserk 0 Posted June 29, 2013 Report Share Posted June 29, 2013 My tranny has been quite loud and getting louder since I bought it 25k miles ago. A german mechanic was at a loss for trying to find a cheap replacement, as he knows the difference between cheap and junk. He said there's a good rebuilding place in California but thats on the opposite coast from me and I dont think that's my cheapest option. Please give me advice for the best longterm and yet less than $3000 option for replacing or rebuilding this insane transmission. I will have to do it hopefully not any time soon but if I have to go used I should start looking around. Link to post Share on other sites
