Aux belt and tensioner

Recommended Posts

Hey

I recently been getting a funny noise firm the nine bay

I founded out the flat was the tensioner as the top bolt was missing

I have got a new one to fit but because the top bolt was missing my aux belt is now stretched

Anyone no best place to get this

And anyone and someone who would fit it ?

I was thinking Gsf. Or. Tps for belt but I dunno if they reasonably priced

Information and comment welcome

As I'm new to the 4mo camp

Cheers

J4mo

Not sure what the bumper is like on an r32 but takes me about 3mins on the 4mo. Had it off so many times trying to reallign my bonnet after i fitted alternator lol. I printed a guide of the mk4 owners club and followed that the first time.

I changed my aux belt and pulley bearing ( to a UM one) about 2 weeks ago and it was pretty simple, 30 min job, I would say printing the belt routing off the web makes things easier :) Although l didnt remove bumper or lift it, just turned the wheels out full lock and could get to everything l needed, but yeah not a great deal of room lol
