No vagcom sorry.

You can not diagnose something like this with out OBD' date=' I suggest this is the next thing you do, guessing is a waste of time.

It's a mk2 and I'm struggling to source an obd port that isnt broken or a complete rip off.

How much is a rip off?

0 280 150 558 is for injectors.

These are 42lb @ 3 bar

That £70 will have soon earnt it's self pride of place mate. It saved me time and effort with the abs and the misfire.

Can it be any obd port from a mk3? Such as out of a gti? As I think the scrap yard near me has a mk3 gti in at the minute.

1H0 972 695 - Plug body ~£3

000 979 131 - Wire - 2 needed ~£1 each

Who ever asked for £70 for a diag port is clearing injecting something into their blood stream!!!

The pic of inside the ECU shows a secure module not an ordinary chip, still need VAG COM data to see whats going on.

If I had to guess I'd say you have fuel delivery problems.
