VeedubVR 0
when driving i can hear a knocking noise and from what I can gather its coming form the front (could e wrong though). The noise isnt a consistent noise which leads me to believe it might not be wheel bearings. However there is slight play on the drivers side wheel when its jacked up (the hub nut is tight!)The noise is the same when turning and it more noticeable at slow speeds... like 3point turnscould this be top mounts? cabrioman 6
need to check all the suspension components for excessive wear, track rods ends, lower ball joints, ARB bushes and drop links etc etc
russj249 2
At slow speeds during 3 point turns I'd also check the CV joints. Wouldn't normally get a drop link or similar noise at that low speed, also check for any broken suspension springs as these can knock when driving, but depend how they break can knock at a standstill turning lock to lock.
