filtee 0
Fitted a used one today as my old one was leaking. The new one works as i can hear it running when the ignition is on. When i take the keys out it stops. Isnt the whole point of it to run afterwards?

legvw 0
Could be several things. Fan control module, yellow coolant temp sensor or fuse?

cbmotorsport 0
pump should run on for a while weather it is hot or cold, mine used to ,and 2 other friends cars also do it . :so it could be a faulty fan control module .
filtee 0
Is that the fusebox thing under the water reservoir? I checked the fuses in that yesterday and all ok.
cbmotorsport 0
thats it. its actually a control module that runs the fans and the auxilliary pump. the fuses are for the fans. but it may be the module its self that is faulty as the pump should run for 10 minutes weather its hot or cold.
