phumie99 0
Hey lads having a tiny problem after reinstalling my starter motor after having it cleaned up!! So now my VR won't start up firstly connected the starter wires wrong (silly mistake) and the cars dash lights light up and everything but wouldn't crank!! NB!! noticed a some small smoke coming from the engine bay righg by the left front tyre. Anyway after reconnecting the starter wires correctly the was no life on the dash at all!!! Any ideas on what could it be??Oh checked the fuses underneath the driver compartment they all good!! Left me puzzled
cbmotorsport 0
when you say you connected them wrong, are you saying that you put the postive terminal on the earth ? if so, you may have fried something.
bungy 2
If you've seen smoke and crossed the wires then something has fried.
