VRmonster 1 Posted February 25, 2005 Report Share Posted February 25, 2005 turn your caps lock off man, its freaking me out. loluse one of the bolts on the side of the tensioner to put in the hole to release the tension. if you have a look, theres 3 there, when you only really need 2, clever VW eh. lol. dont forget to ignore the ac pump if you dont have aircon. lolunsure on the tools to use as ive never done one, but im sure its just the odd spanner and ratchet. hope this helps. trackman 0 Posted February 25, 2005 Report Share Posted February 25, 2005 The bolts are M8 so you'll need a 13mm socket. I don't think you'll need any other tools.The hole for the bolt to release the tension is on the top of the tensioner as you look down onto it. Link to post Share on other sites
