Anyway' date=' a few more pics from that the last b/h weekend...Mk3 rear axle mounting points, jigged..[img']http://i618.photobucket.com/albums/tt270/legvw/new%20project/003-4.jpgThen it was time to remove the mk1 axle mounts and find out how rotten it was!The inner sills on both sides needed repairing before anything happened!They needed to be flared towards the rear of the car to allow room for the rear subframe, and the trailing arm bolt.And then it was a case of joining all the bits together! This is as far as i got, like the new rims? But i finished both sides off this weekend, but need to take piccy's yet! Link to post Share on other sites

I folded a new bulkhead a while ago, an tacked it in place. It still needs holes for the steering column etc, but i can do that at a later date.And i've made a start on the rear end suspension strut towers.More holes in the mk1!!
