VR6-DUB 3 Posted December 5, 2010 Report Share Posted December 5, 2010 HiI am looking to get more information on where to buy replacement sills for the mk3 golf, driver and passenger side.And also how much should a quality welder / bodyshop be charging to replace the damaged / rotten sills?Any ideas?Also if you have had work done of this nature please do put in your advice.Look forward to the replies.Cheers. bungy 2 Posted December 5, 2010 Report Share Posted December 5, 2010 Depends on how bad they are and wether it is worth changing the whole thing or repairing what is there. Support the side you are cutting well and evenly and never cut both sides at the same time. A good shop will charge about £250 per side going on previous cars i've had. Dave_ciw 507 Posted December 31, 2010 Report Share Posted December 31, 2010 I had a good look at these mate and they have a gap in the middle for a B Pillar so these are 5 door I can order you the same thing for a 3 Door no problems they will be £60 a pair delivered and they are exactly what is needed to replace rotten sills.Regards Dave Link to post Share on other sites
