I would just like to know what sort of fuel consumption you get from your vr6. I'm looking at buying the 1995 Golf 2.8 litre Vr6. Link to post Share on other sites

H13VYY 0 Posted September 7, 2010 Report Share Posted September 7, 2010 I used to get 25mpg around local driving normally. On motorway id see 34mpg doing constant 80mph and id see 37mpg doing 70mph. My highest was 39.7mpg which is pretty damn good for a 2.8 litre engine. Link to post Share on other sites

I normally get between 22-24 mpg local and 30-34 motorway, bearing in mind my car has done over 150000... I am looking into light mods, but as a daily driver 12-19 may be hard to live with...I was thinking of the exhaust filter remap route - is this what you did to your car?
