craggsy 91
Lets start this one from the outset shall we instead of trying to remember what I have done 5 yrs after doing it.Well I went out and bought the new car a 2003 R32 turboThen 2 weeks after buying it I got to try it out properly.....Inters 2010 drag stripDoing this all day Saturday and about 6 times Sunday. On way home something didnt feel right. Pulled over and got VAGCOM out and was fine bar headlight not working.Carried on driving home and realised that clutch was slipping and biting point is right near the top. Not good. Thought it might be coz its took some abuse over the weekend and it being hot, but no deffo slipping when I go to boot it. Its fine just pottering about tho.So first thing to buy is a new clutch, trying to find one thats rated to about 600ft lb torque so it gives me some room to play. Also possibly had a beat of heat soak so will be getting a short runner to get TB to front of car and away from turbo and manifold.Thats it so far.Oh and times as of now are 13.009 1/4 mile and 4.94 0-60mph
