Birchy 0 Posted March 27, 2010 Report Share Posted March 27, 2010 Boys & Girls,A friend of mine has written off his 2006 06reg R32 and told me I can have the steering wheel complete with airbag.Will it fit my 1997 Rreg Highline and if so what do I have to do in terms of getting it fitted to the car????Thanks for your help peeps.Birchy. Rustyman 0 Posted April 4, 2010 Report Share Posted April 4, 2010 The issue is the spindle and the spline that the nut goes onto with steering wheel... and also the conectors for the air bag... I'd recommend you disconnect battery.... then undo the alen bolts on the rear of the standard VR wheel... then the air bag pops out... crafully unclip the airbag wire.. You'll soon see if the retaining nut is the same... Link to post Share on other sites
