Well' date=' i'm running Toyo's and Koni Coliovers, and mine still manages to spin in 4th gear at 5500rpm..........hmmmmm can't think why ?!?!?![/quote']

thats amazing....i've only once had wheelspin in 3rd, and that was on a very diesel soaked road, whilst having lock on.

Any FWD car with 175bhp in the Wet will Wheel Spin in 1st

I don't care what anyone says about tyres - if your car is not spinning at all when flat out in 1st' date=' there's something wrong with it - definitely can't be hitting the right BHP/Torque figures, it's just a matter of physics ;)[/quote']

yep, thats true.

what i meant with mine is that if you wanted to you can wheelspin easily, but if you don't provoke it you can launch with none, or very little. theres certainly not that situation where you try a quick launch and don't go anywhere (get that in my mkII with its nice road champs! lol)

i certainly think its worth trying uniroyals if you need tyres. be warned they take a few hundred miles to bed in and aren't too good in the bedding in period (be gentle with them for best results), but once bedded in you'll love it.

he does have a supercharger lol

also the vr has alot of weight over the front wheels which helps with traction harder suspension means less weight transfer to the rear also helping 1 thing i love about about the vr is torque steer iv got 187 lb ft and it doesnt torque steer EVER even if i let go of the wheel and floor it
