CALICO 130
Is there any reason other than space why people dont use bmc cda's with turbos or superchargers
xyber 1
Nope, I was going to use one but couldnt be arsed to try and squeeze it in in the end, I even spoke to BMC to check it could handle it
Ben Seabrook 4
as above would have kept my ramair if I thought there was any way of fitting it with the charger but space is pretty tight so can only manage to get a normal sized cone filter and that's still a squeeze !! hvr6 88
ooh a turbo on an auto... will you be changing your gearbox then?
sharky_70 0
another reason could be that if youre retaining the MAF (not going standalone) the MAF needs to be as far from the turbo intake as you can get it on the TIP, thats why a lot of people use stubby filtersthe BMC is quite a large unit
FishWick 21
I've used a BMC on my VR6 Turbo for nearly 3 years.Everything else was either too noisy or made the motor feel flat off boost. The BMC works great and reduces turbo noise too. They've recently launched an oval version of it to help with space difficulties, but it's feckin expensive!!
