Short list for me really, i ain't had that many cars and some were a joke (but at least got my NCB up!). In order from the date i passed my test:

82 Talbot Samba 954cc (in brown.........but it was free and only lasted a month!)

85 Rover 213SE

88 MK2 GTI 8V

91 MK2 GTI 8V (my baby! still regret selling her!)

90 Renault 19 1400 Chamade (fill in after selling the MK2 and looking for.......)

95 Corrado VR6 (nice car, shame about the fact that i couldn't afford to do owt with it as i bought the house)

96 VR6 Highline

Also like to claim part ownership of the missus 53 plate Lupo GTI as it's sooooo much fun!

'82 MK1 GOLF 1.1 -great first car and got me into dubs

'85 1.3 Polo coupe

'00 1.3 Fiesta - (dont laugh) had new at 18, came with free insurance

'01 1.4 Focus 3dr was actually a very nice motor, great handling but got rid of it because the back windows kept shattering and no-one could work out why!?!

so i sold it and went back to dubs;

'87 mk2 16v Golf -still have

'90 16v corrado - great car

and now hunting for vr6. not bad for 22 years old.

'84 nova SR (launched it into a wall at speed - my only fault accident),

'86 nova SR (was a rusty shed so flogged it to a mate who then wrote it off),

'88 nova SR (total minter, then some twat rear ended me and folded the car in half),

'87 nova SR (bought for £700, sold for £1400, then saw it crashed at side of road),

'00 punto sporting 16v (had an annoying habit of including gearboxes as service items, and had lethal understeer and over sensitive ABS so sold it on, but lost huge amount in depriciation),

'95 cavalier 1.6 envoy (bought as a non-runner for £180, fixed for £30, sold for £500),

'93 golf vr6 (present, you all know the probs i've had),

'86 golf gti 8v (£90 with t & t, am tarting it up and will hopefully get £500 on resale).

I was 21 at the time!! It was a 1998 M3 Evo (SMG), 35k miles and i had a Trakker fitted to it which made my insurance £1550.00 with Tesco......

I had the M3 6 months but was offered £15k when i'd paid £13k for it so i couldn't turn it down!

Sold it and bought the Evo 6 which cost me £1990 through Keith Michaels as Tesco refused to cover it as they'd had a change in their policy and even told me i wouldn't get insurance on the M3 if i tried again now!

lol - I don't know why everyone thinks the M3 would be so much - it was the Evo that killed me! (hence selling after 4 months).

The M3 was still the best car out of the lot, for pure comfort, style and speed when you wanted it you can't go wrong!

I would definitely have another one day, over the Evo 6 i reckon........

The Nova was a good quick car but for a few probs

1. Drank petrol for fun (kinda like the vr)

2. To noisy (Ashley comp Exhaust)

3. Could never keep the carbs running right

and finally the carbs caught fire one day ,managed to save the car but it car never felt the same after that. B)

Renault Alpine GTA

BMW E30 M3 (x2) including an evo 1

Lancia delta integrale 16v

porsche 911sc

2 beach buggies

+ 3 renault 5 turbos, a nissan 200sx & various other small hatches I've messed around with.

Water cooled VW's: -

2 x MK2 8v gti's

2 x MK2 16v gti's

2 x MK3 VR6's

I stopped running any thing stupidly expensive to maintain after some pretty hefty bills, often run a 2nd car as well to keep the usage down, including gems like rover 414, Ford orion, Renault 25's, 318i, 323i & 530i plus a whole bunch of other tat.

VR6 is probably the fave, I gutted when I had to let my first one go 4 years ago and was very happy when I bought another one this year.

Moved on a bit from my first car which was a Ford Capri 1.6 auto.
