Guest Nero1701 Posted May 16, 2009 Report Share Posted May 16, 2009 After getting the bumper off and removing all the coolant conections ect ect,found the reason that my subframe/front crossmember had dropped, no the bolts wern't missing but the six little spot welds that hold the actual subframe mont to the chassis had snapped!!!!now need a welder to sort this for me!!!! Have a picture of it it in one of my sad posts.Have you driven over something too quickly or something that would pust the subframe up?Hope you get it sorted matey. If you get a good welder, it should only take 4 or 5mins tops. If someone quotes you 30mins - 1hr, then they're ripping you. Link to post Share on other sites
Guest Nero1701 Posted May 17, 2009 Report Share Posted May 17, 2009 Oh yeah, ant to top all of that, I didnt wanna drive the car out of the garage as I didnt wanna cause any more harm, So I thought id push it out, forgetting that the garage is on a slight incline!!!!!! Long storry short!! it started freewheeling, i started pulling, got caught between the car and the garage and think ive cracked a rib or 3, and have the bruse the size of a outstretched hand!!!Hurts when i fart Link to post Share on other sites
