Damo 85 0
Got sent this by a workmate last night:Three men go into a hotel and pay for a room. the clerk informs them that a room is £30. each of the three men pay £10 and go to their room.A while later they return, and the clerk apologises, saying he was incorrect and the actual price of the room is £25. As he can not split the remaining £5 equally, he gives the three men £1 each and pockets the £2 himself. This means that each man paid £9, equalling £27. Plus the £2 the clerk kept, which is £29.... where is the missing £1???

thegoth 5
and pockets the £2 himself. did he used to be an MP?The room cost £25 not £30 so the math is 3*£9 = £27- £2 kept by the clerk. = £
