ez_101 1
Come on peeps little help please?
russj249 2
well as nobody is replying. I had mine polished so I had to take it off and re-fit.I take it your just swapping it with another standard one?? if so, to be honest there isn't much to look out for on the manifold. Most of the gubbins are in the throttle body. Should be a simple swap with new gaskets. Is a little tricky to get to bottom bolts, aint a lot of room. But take time and it'll work out. ez_101 1
yea im replacing it with a polish one, so just a swap basically... thanks for replying mate!!!
craggsy 91
Dead easy.....4 bolts to take throttle body off, 7 or 8 that hold upper mani to lower mani. disconnect pipe at front right and bigger one further back. Dont forget to swap sensor over tho. Basicly itPlus all other little bits that are on the mani as well
craggsy 91
Been a while since I done one as had a schrick for about 3.5 yrs now

ez_101 1
kool thanks, i got 2 new gaskets to replace the old ones.... looks like a trial and error job tomoz then! lol
craggsy 91
once you start its quite easy really. A couple of bolts hold throttle cable in place. I take inlet pipe of at throttle body and leave hoses attached and just undo 4 bolts holding throttle body to mani.It really is easy to do
ez_101 1
ok didnt know about the throttle body, thats tucked just under the rear of the manni?!
thegoth 5
A squirt of WD40, or something stronger, before you start is always a good idea if everything has been in place like forever
