VR6 Turbo Which 1

Recommended Posts

Damnit, not another VR6 turbo rallye!

They're getting common as muck! ;O)

Remember if you want to retain the 4 wheel drive you've got some serious transmission changes to make. VR6 Syncro gear (rare as feck in the UK) won't take 500hp if you've got a heavy right foot so you're on about a full haldex conversion and a crazy hybrid gearbox if you're using a 12v.

It's hard to say without seeing the car, but if the Rallye VR6 is still LHD, then you won't a brake servo and master cylinder to get in the way, so you can easily use the ATP manifold. The downpipe will need to be custom though as the US kits are for FWD cars usually.

Sorry Buddy' date=' I was hijacking the thread. Sorry macvwnut.

Mine is a standard Uk VR6, so what I said was can I just use a US turbo kit, and use a RHD manifold instad of the lHd manifold supplied in the kit?

Would that work?
