VR6mitch 0 Posted November 23, 2008 Report Share Posted November 23, 2008 Hi Guys im having trouble with my gears, ive managed to adjust them so it is slightly better via the selector in the car but is still not right. Im having bother with first im having to push the lever against the gate before i can push it forward into first. Is there anything i can do to make it better it is starting to do my head in now. Using the 'balance weight' if I select 3rd with the gearbox securely in gear I can rotate the weight and elector mech back and forth maybe 30 degree's without pulling the box out of gear.So given this it looks like something in the box selector is worn.
