Lizard Racing 0
Ah right, what are you doing about the inlet manifold and fsi problem?

Phat VR6 3
Alex what is the FSI? Guessing its a new type of injector and pump but how does it work and what its the advantages
craggsy 91
My understanding of it is its a high pressure injector direct to combudtion chamber. But waits to be corrected

You are going for 1000hp then?I have seen the HGP manifold and when Andy at Storm approached them they wanted to sell him the whole twin turbo kit! Which was fine but they then said they were not going to make anymore kits!
Lizard Racing 0
Alex what is the FSI? Guessing its a new type of injector and pump but how does it work and what its the advantagesAs Craggsy has said its similar to diesel direct injection but for gasoline. The top 3 injectors are 8" long to reach from the front right through to the rear bank of combustion chambers.I will try and get some pics up as my plan is to pull the head off at the weekend after Ive got back from Storm. Lizard Racing 0
Quick update since Ive been back from holiday. Rotrex brackets are both made and tensioner is now on. Spent the weekend pulling the dash out to remove the accelerator pedal! What a joke of a job!
craggsy 91
It looked tight on Jakes 3.2 and now it shows why
Lizard Racing 0
Its a bigger blower too. The mk2 front brace is much more accommodating than the mk3 one. Jakes outlet exits towards the front directly into the intercooler, whereas I am going over the chassis leg and round.
