kcw 1
I'm in the process of smoothing/tidying my engine bay but I can't get my alarm siren off my strut turret. It has this key on the outside of it but I dont have anything that fits it, I'm thinking its bolted to the strut and the bolt is on the inside of the box either that or its got the best glue I've ever seen. What do you guys recon? Here's the lock thing I'm talking about . . . . Thanks, Ken

kcw 1
I had thought that, but I dont wanna mangle the alarm. Although if I can't find a key for it that's the route I'll be going down.

kcw 1
I've been told its a just a switch toi turn the siren on and off, looks like I'll just have to rip it off lol
vw_golf_vr6 0
correct, if you can get the casing apart the 2 wires going to the key switch either need disconnecting or joining together depending on the ccti would either drill the lock out or pick it, those locks are quite easy to pick as well
kcw 1
I went down the rubber mallet route, it was actually bolted to the strut.
