Chiefwiggum29 0 Posted April 18, 2007 Report Share Posted April 18, 2007 hi, i'm after a strut brace for my vr6. which one should i go for?? and which one should i go for and where should i get it.do i have to drill the strut brace onto the top of the struts like i did on my mk4 or do the fit abit easyier than that. sorry for being abit think on this. but any help would be usefull.cheersroey Link to post Share on other sites
purple highline monster 0 Posted April 18, 2007 Report Share Posted April 18, 2007 you have to drill the 4 holes....myself and cabrioman discussed this the other day......its best to use threaded inserts in the holes you drill in the strut top then use appropriate size bolts to tighten it down...if not you gotta take all the arch liner out and getting any tools past the shock and spring to reach the turret from inside is a killer!!
