Here is my love and joy, I traded in my 10 month old 1.4 pug 206sw for the 2.8 monster !amazed . The mods that i'm going to do are a Induction Kit, Boxter exhaust, 17in rims, Angel eyes lights and a Debadge grill. All are in the post on there way to me. Also thinking about lowering it, but my wheels might rub &| . My wheels are 7x17" Wolfrace Octane, fitted with 205/40/17 tyres. What do you guys think about the rubbing.

I'll post more pics when done.

Spot the Cat. :)

Don't lower it until the cats safe though

!amazed :):P

There are quite a few people with cars wound low on coilovers and 17's. You should be ok, with possibly the only the odd scrub. Alternatively get a fixed height lowered suspension kit at say 30mm and I don't think you will have any troubles at all.

Car looks fantastic by the way! :)

  • 3 months later...

you can take it down 40mm for a fact with 17's....i have mine 50mm and have only had 1 rub once with a full tank of petrol, 5 people, full boot with 40kg's of flour in the back....

hehe dont ask...but ive never got it to rub ever again, infact i think its dangerous to load your car up that much anyways/
