speedyoli 0 Posted October 15, 2006 Report Share Posted October 15, 2006 mk3 vr6 1995 aaa 128kw motronic. car was fine when i bought it and has developed a bad misfire with black smoking, i have changed the plugs and leads which has made no difference?? does it need to be put on vag com 2 find the fault?? sorry this mite sound abit stupid but im used to dealing with mk2's so im learning!! speedyoli 0 Posted October 16, 2006 Author Report Share Posted October 16, 2006 I have spoken to a vw specialist and they have told me that vag com will probably not pick up the fault as it doesnt have misfire recognition, change the ignition coil as its a common problem??
