drummie 0
Hi there. I've modified this post as I should explain I know very little about cars etc. And although this question may appear stupid, I really don't know how to do this but for somwething so simple, i'd rather learn than pay someone and get charged through the nose for it!!All I want to do is get a wire from the engine bay in to the car and apparently I can do this via the clutch cable through the bulk head... Is this correct ? ... because I can't see a way through.any thoughts would be great.btw, it's a MRk 3 golf Vr6.cheersdave
sparkz 0
NO!! Do not go through the clutch cable (bearing in mind that mk3 vr's dont have a clutch cable!!) Directly under your abs unit is 2 or 3 grommets where you can run wires into the car. You may have to remove your expansion bottle for easier entry!
