Golf VR6 Review

Volkswagen GOLF VR6 (1992 - 1998)

It offers storming performance in a compact package. New, the VR6 was always well equipped and so most older cars also offer quite a good standard spec. Expect to find power steering, anti-lock brakes, alloy wheels and traction control.

Golf R32 Review
Volkswagen GOLF R32 (2002 - 2004)

Theres a lot more to the R32 than serious horsepower, but the age-old formula of big engine in a small(ish) car still serves up the thrills. The 3.2-litre V6 engine fitted to the R32 is a massively revised version of the perennial 2.8-litre V6 (nee VR6) unit that powered upspec MK4 Golfs like the V6 4Motion.
Corrado Review
Volkswagen CORRADO (1989 - 1996)

The danger with buying any used performance car is in how well it's been looked after. You really do need to check the service history, especially with the G60 and VR6s, and look closely for signs of suspension, tyre, clutch and gearbox damage.
Sharan V6 4Motion Review
Volkswagen SHARAN V6 4MOTION

Traction off the line is aided by that Haldex differential which directs power to the rear wheels when it detects the front pair slipping. Its certainly a good deal more sophisticated than most all-wheel drive set-ups.
