The VR6 Owners Club first started out in September 2003, under the name VR6Golf.co.uk (A website initially dedicated to my 1997 Golf VR6).Little that I knew that future of the VR6 scene was changing. As you may well know, Club VR6 had been providing the VR6 scene with its information, tech info,
events and newsletters for over 10 years, which is quite an achievement in itself. Unfortunately, the interest in Club VR6 had diminished over a period of time, and in July of 2004, The VR6 Owners Club was born. Initially purchasing all name spaces and rights along with its member’s database, we set to work building what you now see before you.

The website was re-branded from VR6Golf to The VR6 Owners Club as popularity increased, and the amount of registered forum members increased. In 2005, we launched a service aimed at enthusiasts who wished to support and improve the club, This was called Premium Membership, the revenue generated from this catapulted us into “prime time” allowing us to introduce a host of new features to the website, and more importantly the club.We have had a prominent presence in all major shows during the past 2 years along with organising our own events.

Recently we have started to reach out to some of the newer VR6 variant models such as the prestigious R32 and other V6 models.
