Hi guys After tinkering around with my transmission I have completely messed up all the gear locations. My car wouldn't go into reverse so I ajusted the side bolt for the top cable and got it right, it went into reverse but then kept reving high in other gears. So I went and un-done the top bolt on the bottom cable and now I have completely lost all gears and get over rev when I change my gears. When the cars reverse didn't work all other gears worked fine but soon as I played about with the alingment it started to go wrong. I need some help to ajust both side/ top cable bolt and top/ bolt bo

I am also interested in the same bumper! Need one with paint code LC9Z (Black Magic Pearl) where the top bit underneath the front lights is also paint in the same colour, where as my one is currently trim colour.

I am based in Luton. Thank you for all your answers! I have found the problem. I thought it might have been the fuel pump, so before i tested that out. I had a look at the fuse box out of curiosity, in case any fuses have blown. Never guess, the fuse for the fuel pump was blown so i replaced it and hay ho! The car starts! But now i have another problem with the manual transmission. The gear goes in to reverse but drives forward I have found out that its definitely the gear linkage, only problem is i cant seam to find out where to get hold of the part from? Hi guys! I took my VR6 for a little test drive today and it cut out on me. The engine just died. I tried starting it back up it cracks over like everything is fine but as if it's deprived of petrol but it has enough petrol. I've changed the HT leads, coil pack and battry all before this problem came up. It's just all the suddon happen. Just to mention that car can't drive because it doesn't start. It ticks over and sounds as if it's going to start but just doesn't. Please someon help!
