Generally if an engine has seized due to lack of oil its because the bearings have welded themselves up IE: big end bearings so you may need a new crankshaft if its damaged the bores then it will need a rebore. Seriuosly not worth doing better of getting a cheap second hand lump and rebuilding that.

Also remember to fix what might have caused the overheat/seize. Normally the fan motor controller is at fault or fans first stage resistor packs. As the main fan only engages when hot, it can't coupe and the head gasket could go.

Do you have a blown head gasket? or has the oil drained from sump (crack in sump is common on lowered vehicles)?

Check your auxillary water pump and internal water pump. The water circulation together with the fans not performing as required would cause issues. the engines traditionally are pretty tuff and as long as they have been serviced on a regular basis shouldn't give any trouble. But then as you say there are many things that could cause a seize (even something as simple as chain and followers).

Good luck with getting this sorted.
