I need advice.. I want to fit some porsche twist wheels onto my my 3.5

So here it is :-

Make : PORSCHE ETA BETA 3 PC TWIST

SIze: 18"

Fronts : 8x8j Et 49

Rears: 8x9.5j Et 52

As I have noooo clue if this will work, but I've seen a few mk3 with theses wheels. I know I need adapters, and know the fronts should not be the issue, but, just worried about the rear wheels.

Anyone fit these on there mk3, what are the specs for adapters, etc....your comments experience most graciously appreciated.

Will they fit, need advice quickly before these wheels are gone.

18s will truely kill any handling you've got already, they don't feel nice on a 3rd gen golf, but that's my personal opinion.

I ran a set of bmw bbs on mine with adapters a fair few years ago, it looked the nuts, but a noticeable negative impact on handling and driving feel while using the adapters, and they were proper h&r jobbies. I always said I wouldn't do Adapters again because it felt so "slack", but like I said, it look pretty dam good

Don't get me wrong mate, that wasn't a dig at all, I can see your point having 18s on with boost, it's a lot for 2 front tyres to put down.

Nothing wrong with torque steer! In fact after selling my near 300bhp vauxhall astra I'm missing it a bit! Great fun

Don't suffer torque steer in my mk6 R, but it does bring out the child in me when I get back the old VR (forgive me, for I am now simply stirring the pot )
