How to reduce brake travel?

Recommended Posts

So after upgrading my from brakes to 312mm from 280mm and replacing front and rear hoses with stainless ones I'm having trouble with getting the brake pedal right. I've bled the brakes about 3 times now. Doing the right sequence and also making sure that the small box on the rear axle is compressed. Can't rmenever what it's called. So where do I go from here? I'm fairly sure there isn't any air in the system as I've followed all the correct steps and even used a bleed kit. Could anyone shed light on this?

Cheers

What Luke said, made a difference for me when I purged the brakes, if possible. Have been reading that the brake feel isn't great when compared to modern cars.

If you drive one back yo back, it isn't, but the power is still there just not a feather touch right at the top of the pedal, I only noticed this in hindsight though
