obd2 diagnostic scanner

Guys im after a decent diagnostics machine that covers obd2 vr6s. I had vagcom ages ago and let it go with a seat leon i had, i dont need that level anymore but i do want plenty of features, including abs capability

 

anyone any experiences with something decent, im happy to pay decent money but dont want to go back to £250 for vagcom, and wont use the fake or cheap vagcoms.

I have this. Best one I found does airbags and abs. Used it on my vr6. Bora. Oct vrs etc

Not unless you have Obd2 port I believe obd1 has 2 connections

I paid £70 for my vagcom but cant find the link anymore

You would have to ask them mate.. honestly tho best diagnostic tool olive used for vw engine lights and abs etc

I bought an obd2 lead cheap off the 'bay, then downloaded VCDS lite from the rosstech website, this gives you enough functionality to reset abs lights, read fault codes and a number of measuring blocks, all for free!

But you need a laptop to do it. I keep that in the boot and I can do diagnosis wherever I am.

I see, I purchased a cheap obd 2 scanner off eBay which lets me read and clear codes, reset abs etc cost about £12
